Chinese New Year

Its the third day of CHINESE NEW YEAR ! and its so boring and here I am doing my homework ! it doesn't seem like a CNY to me as its quite dead this year. Even my mother and my friends agree unanimously that there is no CNY mood this year. I don't know why too. Its like there is something amiss and it ain't felt right. Like the time of festive is not here yet. Nevermind about that. At least I got to celebrate it and enjoy on the first day.

I wake up in the morning and there is no CNY mood. It felt like another ordinary day, changed to my new clothes and "bai nian" to my parents. We took a family photo at home and went to my paternal grandparents house first with my new shoes on. Drank the red dates tea and waited for my uncles and aunts to arrive. After we had finished saying good words to my uncles and aunties, we went to my maternal grandparents house. My grandmother had prepared lots of good food ! There was curry chicken (my fav) and also braised duck. It was damn good ! I love my grandmother's culinary skills ! She's the best ! :) After that my cousin came along and we played cards the whole day. I practically stayed there till like 7 plus. It was a fruitful day i guess. :)

The second day of new year, which was yesterday, iI finally went to HAW PAR VILLA ! I was damn excited as the agenda was decided last minute when we were on the route home after we had finished lunch with my paternal grandparents and uncles. I heard from my parents and my both my sisters that it had changed alot from the past. Both of my sisters went when they were young but when it was my turn to go, HAW PAR VILLA was down for renovation. Thus I missed the chance to go. I always feel so sad that I was the only one who didn't went there before but I had the chance now. We took lots of photos and had lots of fun. Lucky for me, there was not much of the sun appearing and it was not that hot. We went to the 18 levels of hell and I find i quite fascinating. There, they showed the different courts in hell where you will be banished to according to what bad deeds you have done, like cutting out the tongue for continuous lying. It was really an eye-opener to me as I always find it interesting to know such things. :) After that, I went home satisfied. ")

Friendship week !

I just discovered that I have not been blogging for some time already. Guess I was too lazy to blog. :) okay!

This week was friendship week. Everyone was quite excited about it and there was lots of buzzing on the topic. The first day was leave a mark day! It was crazy. Everyone's hand was like a vandalized wall ! Everywhere you look, people have "tattoos" on them. Most have them on their hands, some even on their arms, to the extreme, some even have it on their faces, like curly moustache and cat whisker. It was hilarious when the maths lecturer pointed that out and thought that she was having hallucination. It was that funny that everyone burst out laughing ! Those who do not have anything on their hands were targets. People would flock to them like bees to honey, just to have a stroke on their clean arms. At the end of the day, the toilets were full of people washing and scrubbing off the vandalism. :)

The second day was tag a photo day ! Everyone went crazy as usual with their cameras in their hands and taking pictures with people whom they know, everywhere they go. Everywhere we heard was "1, 2, 3!" and snap ! Different kinds of camera were brought from everyone. It's like a camera fashion show. For my class, we were lucky I guess. Our CT was absent on that day and it was picture crazy people ! We took like hundreds of photos in class with everyone. Even our maths teacher took a picture with us, a class photo ! It was so exciting and everyone really had lots of fun ! It was more like a bonding session between our class. I guess that this was the best class that I could ever have as everyone was so bonded and we do not really have lots of problems like some other classes. We get along damn well, no matter guys or girls, thus the outings and the fun that we have ! This is the only consolation I can get out of JC I think but its worth it it i guess as people always say that friends you make in JC are the friends that will be with you in university. I think that's partially true. :)

The third, fourth and fifth day was swap personality, give a gift and create a handshake day respectively. It was nothing much to be excited about for the other three days already. The excitement died down subsequently.

On the last day, our class went out for a class lunch reunion. Initially, we wanted to eat at the BBQ chicken shop at T1, but as there were too many of us, there was not enough seats. So we went to Thai Express instead. I ate the shoft shell curry crab with rice and it was damn nice ! Thanks to ANNA for her recommendation ! :) JUN JIE signed up for a card in the restaurant and we had discounts. But overall, the card causes $30 !!! SO, the discounts were actually no discounts at all ! We felt a bit cheated and actually wanted to refund the card but JJ already drank the free compliment drink !! Thus we paid and left. The rest left, leaving FELICIA, YUIN THENG, ME, KEXIN, SUYEON, JINWEI and JUN JIE. We went to Tampines mall to buy KX's stuff. We wanted to watch PERCY JACKSON and THE LIGHTNING THIEF !! but the theatre was full and the timing was not in our favour so we abandoned the thought and went home instead.

CCA Orientation !

HEY EVERYONE ! i have decided to REVIVE my BLOG !! :) its been so long that i have even typed the website: www.blogger.com and i have completely forgotten my password. How bad can it get? i tried all the possible passwords that i would use like 3 years ago. Its DAMN TIRING !

Anyways, the first thing that i am to blog is about CCA orientation ! What a fun day it was ! it was so crowded everywhere. Everywhere i look, i would see j1s and j2s. All of the CCA are pulling people to their booths to sign up for the respective CCA. Apparently so was ODAC. we built 2 swing structures and it was successful ! everyone enjoyed the swing very much and it was STABLE ! so no one got injured. After the structure, ANNA and I went around with flyers to promote ODAC. it was damn fun shouting : JOIN ODAC ! we practically walked around the school like 2-3 times just to give out the flyers to the j1s. We saw PEARLIE and LUYEN and we walked together to promote ODAC and NETBALL. I think our combined shout of : JOIN ODAC and JOIN NETBALL was AWESOME ! We went to the hall later to watch the performing arts perform. Band was MAJESTIC, modern dance club was SUPERB, CO was SWEET, choir was NICE ! ANNA and I went to support KE XIN (CO). THey were playing JU HUA TAI by JAY CHOU. Next, we went to Science and Environment Club (S&E) to find SU and take free candy floss ! I felt so bad so we decided to promote S&E for them. Combined effort with PEARLIE, LY and ANNA again ! ANNA and I went back to our booth and saw JIN WEI. He was like slacking so the 3 of us decided to walk around together. We say YUIN THENG and FELICIA at the Infocomm Club area and YT has the whole fan to herself ! how good is that when the weather is damn hot ! We also went to the shooting range where neither of us has been there before. We didn't even know it existed till today ! SHI QI joined us and ANNA went with her OG. so the 3 of us went to the field. SQ and I tried batting. It was quite fun though, wasn't as difficult as it looks to hit the ball. We went to basketball court next and saw KAT. SQ says KAT look like a small boy in the basketball jersey and suggested that she wear that to school everyday and everyone started laughing. After that, we went back to our own booths and it was time to dismantle everything.

The next BIG THING was CHIA MIN's BIRTHDAY ! we sang her birthday song and gave her presents ! After that, we shout our ODAC cheer ! Every single one of us were shouting and giving it our loudest. it was SUPERB and FANTASTIC ! oh. and we have about 100 j1s signing up for ODAC ! thats a record i guess ! hahas. 2 words to describe today: FUN, TIRING !

after my exams miie and janice go look at the plants again .. hahas .. wah!! can't believe it, they had grown so much .. better than we expected .. so nice and green .. looks very healthy also .. but ii think onli the morning glory grows lorhs .. onli a little blue peas grow.. sian .. also dunchh noe wadds wrong with the blue peas .. we experimented it with alot of water given to it and a little water give to it .. but still not successful .. yesterdae we transfer the plants which is in the cup and container into the aluminium tray .. very fun sia .. we look like we are gardeners like that lorhs .. maybe janice and ii were gardeners in our previous life .. =p anyway .. after we finihs transplanting den we put it out into the sun .. den we go wash everything .. =p thats all ..

trapped in the lift !!

we were trapped in the lift .. can yew believe it .. hahas .. miie , xin ying, emily and si huii .. trapped in the lift when we were on our way to the geylang east polyclinic to do0 the CIP for our NYAA badge .. hahas .. it all started because xin ying and si huii were marching inside .. hahas .. they love marching very much .. den the lift stuck sia .. hahas .. we did not panick ..coz the lights were still on and their is ventilation inside .. but it kept getting hotter and hotter inside .. den we tried calling everybody .. hahas .. we called raina, esther, miss ng, miss lin, and our mothers .. hahas .. so funny .. we playing inside larhs .. take photos, take videos, walking around, having pinic .. hahas .. coz we got buy the bread from school canteen and drink also .. so we were pratically eating and playing larhs .. =p hahas .. quite fun .. about an hour plus den we were rescued .. hahas .. =p after that we went to do0 our CIP .. ii printed materials and stapled them together .. den si huii is to call other people to confirm whether they coming for the X ray .. hahas .. so fun .. ii helped her also .. =p emily and xin ying also do0 the same things as us .. hehe .. thats all bahs ..

arts night

wee~ arts night finally over .. hahas .. its at singapore poly .. was quite excited .. the first thing ii reached home was to slack . hahas .. den took a bath and all that and went to meet xin xin at aljunied mrt station .. xin xin wear until very nice .. =p hahas .. ii wore a red dress .. hahas .. so we went together, to janice house .. when we reached her house , her mother was tying her hair and she was playing o2jam .. hahas .. so we went to walk around the house .. after herhar was done, she taught miie how to play o2jam .. hahas .. my first time playing sia .. coz we waiting for emily mahs .. =p ii playing half way den lewis came home and laughed at miie larhs .. so pai sei sia .. hahas .. but den he play until very pro lehs .. hahas .. still sae anyhow play one .. bluff miie .. hahas .. he wore long sleeved shirt .. and emily came .. she wore a yellow and white striped shirt and a shorts .. janice wore a dress too .. brown colour one .. her favourite colour .. =p we went to bugis to meet xin ying, rachel, silvie, si hui and trisha .. on the way to the aljunied mrt staion, we saw kenneth, alvin they all larhs .. den we like so pai sei .. coz we wear until like that .. den they kept laughing larhs .. hahas .. at bugis, everyone arrived except si hui .. and finally si hui came .. hahas .. we bought sushi for dinner .. =)
after that we left for the singapore poly .. wah !! lots of people there .. all the teachers wear ethinic clothes can while the students all wear until very nice .. hahas .. si hui bought a rose for nazirah as nazirah like rose .. so we went to search for her coz she got prefects duty mahs .. =p and we found her .. hahas .. den saw raina .. we took a pic we her .. =p she look very pretty lorhs .. first time see her dress until like that .. =p den saw sly they all .. they also dress until very nice .. hehe .. =p we went inside to see the performance .. alvin and kian wei they all were seating two rows back from us .. hahas .. kian wei wore pink .. quite nice .. most of the guys had a tie on except for khup .. hahas .. he dreess until very stylo can .. dress like emo type like that .. hahas .. super outstanding ii tell yew .. =p hahas .. should see it .. the dance club was excellent lorhs .. band also ok ok lorhs .. but then the other two was like not very good .. dunchh like .. there was an interval after the drama so ii went to the toilet and bought some drinks coz very thirsty .. and saw cassandra (violent kia) , jean they all .. all wearing guides u .. so cute lars they all .. hahas .. no doubt is my juniors .. kidding .. =p the whole thing not bad larhs .. but last arts night was better coz got beat box and teacher singing mahs .. yupps .. after that went back to bugis to have supper coz hundry den jiu go0 home lerhs .. =p

guides carnival .. hahas .. we selling muah chee .. =p hehe .. its at scape near heeren there .. wah !! alot of people there cans .. got lots of guides and members of the public also lorhs .. hahas .. walk in there is like wadd the chinese expression says : people mountain people sea .. hahas .. =p its really very crowded .. we get ready our shifts and the first shift starts to sell .. ii am the second shift so we went to shop at cathay .. coz like nothing to shop mahs .. so we went to yoshinoya to take a rest and order drinks .. and yew noe wad janice wants to order ? ii never never thought she would order that .. ii when ii am helpong her to order, ii was like so pai sei cans ?? she wan the barney drink !! den the cash register guy look at miie confused ok .. hahas .. den after we were about to finish our drink, rachel called and said that they had finihs selling all the muah chee .. no need second shift lerhs .. den we were like sure a not .. so we hurried back to take a look .. its true .. miss ng onli make one pot larhs .. hahas .. so we were release early lorhs .. so we went back shopping .. but without janice coz she accompanying her cousins ..
so the usual us went to shop again .. after that we went to far east.. emily bought a shirt but ii bought nothing .. coz ii dunchh like .. =p after we finihs dinner, we went back home .

first aid make up class

hahas .. todae need to go0 for make up class .. si hui father agreed to drive us to the place where the training is held .. =p so good of him rights ?? haha .. after we reach there , the class has already started .. so we joined in the class .. its full of adults can .. onli miie and si hui is student .. we were exceptionally quiet ( we were usually very noisy de ) .. hahas .. after the revision, we went to the other room to practise the CPR procedure and also the choking procedure .. the teacher call miie and si hui to demonsrate cans ?? si hui was the victim and ii was the first aider .. ii was like so scared larhs .. coz everyone was looking .. but ii did it !! hahas .. we went to have our lunch .. the teacher brought us to eat as we do not noe where are the eating places in the building .. hahas .. =p after lunch, we had our written test .. and guess wadd ? miie and si hui failed .. out of the whole class of 20 plus people , onli 5 pathetic people pass cans .. hahas .. so we went for a re test .. and ii passed .. hahas .. but si hui failed by one mark .. the teacher close one eye and passed si hui .. hahas .. after that we went for the CPR test .. ii was so damn nervous .. but luckily the tester was quite lenient .. she gave us hints when we do not noe the next step .. after that we had to proceed with the bandaging part .. its a pair work so si hui and ii pair up and bandage each other .. =p and finally .. we PASSED!! so happy can .. we got our certificate .. we are officially a FIRST AIDER !! =p

wifey day ! (jagong)

hahas .. todae is not the exact date of my wifey birthdae larhs .. but we decide to celebrate it coz on the 20 june miie and si hui have first aid make up class .. coz we miss the third dae coz of camp training .. we went to suntec .. went to the arcade to play rock fever .. hahs .. after that went to have lunch and then to the kbox .. hahas .. so we started singing .. at first not high de .. its until xin xin go0 choose the grasshopper(cao meng) song . bao bei dui bu qi .. hahas .. den everyone become very high .. very funny .. after the song we all laugh like mad cans .. we sang till seven .. and went to eat dinner .. and home sweet home ..

june holidaes

wah !! girl guides almost fill half of my holidaes can ?? OMG!! hahas .. 3 days camp and plus lots more girl guiides stuff .. =p but quite fun larhs .. ii mean everything .. even though had to go0 back to sch very often for guiides .. its ok .. coz ii LOVE guides !! hahas .. coz got lots of frwens, nice activites and also our teachers and guiders re nice people .. hahas .. espescially miss ng .. always giving in to us .. =) hahas .. and also "super man" .. hahas .. thats shu fen mdm nickname .. hahas .. coz one time dunchh noe who call her den ii heard "superman" so on that dae on, ii call her superman . =p so fun .. oh ya .. by the way . arts night coming .. need to go0 and buy some stuffs .. hahas .. =p thats all ..

first aid

finally going learn some life saving skills .. hahas .. actually we are suppose to learn last year de .. but then miie, si hui and emily need to go0 for the leadership camp .. den xin ying went genting .. so we must go0 this year .. =p hahas .. sounds exciting so we went .. its on three different days, 1, 2, 4 of june .. but den miie and si huii can onli go0 for the first two days coz the last dae crash with our camp training for guides .. and the last dae was the test!! thats the bad thing .. aiyo .. hahas .. miss ng also never realise it crash with our camp training .. hahas ..
anyway .. when we reach there, there are girl brigades and girl guides .. lots of people .. there are also sec 2 guides .. hahas .. the course was interesting the first day as it is not boring .. hahas ..
but on the second day, our trainers change .. suppose it was 2 guys but den change to a guy and a teenager .. hahas .. on the second we doingg CPR and bandage .. it was quite fun .. when we weere doing CPR, emily and xin ying sae that that teenager guy kept looking at miie .. den ii sae dunch hhave and call them not to think too much .. they kept insisting cans ?? hahas .. siao one larhs .. how can it be possible .. hahas .. we continued with bandaging too .. we had to bandage the head, arm and leg .. so as to secure and stop all these places from fractures and bleeding .. ii was patnering si huii .. hahas .. so we took turns to bandage one another .. it swas so fun and we even took pictures of ourselves when we were bandaged .. hahas .. we laughed at one another's skill .. after eerything we went to have our dinner together at HANS and went back home .. =p

we went to escape to celebrate xin xin birthdae lorhs .. hahas .. miie, janice, boon kim, emily woh, emily hooy, xin ying, joyce, si hui and of course xin xin the birthdae giirl .. hahas .. but first, miie, si hui and janice went to buy xin xin present, a gigantic female turtle .. hahas .. actually wanna play rock fever de but no time lerhs coz we at marina .. hahas .. so we went to meet everybody else at pasir ris .. went to escape and played a lot of things .. hahas .. quite fun larhs .. one memorable thing is that when miie, joyce, janice, boon kim and si hi were sitting the pirate ship, we shouted : " happy birthdae xin xin, wo men ai xin xin!! " hahas .. coz she never play mahs den she down there laughing ..
after that we went to her chalet .. den we saw rong rong(xin xin cousin) and her frwens there .. we put our bags and went out to buy poker cards .. miie and xin ying was watching cinderella 3 at the CD shop while the others buy the cards .. hahas .. we were so engrossed that we did not even wanna move cans .. hahas .. joyce actually wanna call us go0 de but instead she also watch .. hahas .. very nice cans .. coz the step mother go0 take the fairy godmother wand lorhs .. so bad right ?? and want anastasia(cinderella step sister) to marry the prince larhs ..
finally we were being dragged out of that place and we went back to the chalet and started playing cards .. we also got drink vodka lorhs .. the nitez strawberry and green apple one is nice but not the peach rum .. coz taste like medicine .. hahas .. after a while, sylvester, javier they all came .. joyce, emily and xin ying went back after a while coz joyce need to reach home before 7 and emily's mum coming back so she wanna go0 airport mahs .. so left miie, janice, boon kim and si hui .. we had the BBQ den play cards with sly they all lorhs .. den we went arcade but nothing to play so came back chalet .. den it was time to cut the cake ..
we sing happy birthdae to xin xin with her family and took photos too .. hahas .. we took one photo .. =p after that because we got bought another small cake for her mahs .. so we sing her a birthdae song again .. hahas .. den we took photos of her eating the cake we bought .. coz we had too much of the BBQ food, we were too full to eat the cake .. so ii and janice share one piece of cake and boon kim and si hui shared one .. hahas .. =p overall , ii think is quite fun larhs .. hahas .. =p

just came back yesterdae from genting .. hahas .. quite fun lorhs .. but den the bus trip very tiring .. coz we sit until our butt very pain lorhs .. =p hehe ..the first dae we reach there we go0 there shopping .. hahas .. but did not really buy anything .. after that we went back to the hotel to have some rest .. hahas .. we, the three sister share two beds lorhs .. hahas .. we have to sleep horizontally .. =p
